Owe Johansson was a Swedish silversmith. Johansson began making jewelry in 1965 in Sigtuna. He had his first breakthrough exhibit at the National Museum’s exhibition called “YOUNG SWEDISH SILVER” in 1968.
Owe Johansson has piece included in many prestigious collections such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Museum in Stockholm, Röhss Museum in Gothenburg, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the National Art Collections in Prague. His work is also included in many private collections such as King Gustaf VI Adolf and King Carl XVI Gustaf. He has won several international awards including Sweden's National Art Award.
