A lovely, rare ring designed by Jorma Laine and produced by Finnish firm Turun Hopea. The piece is both sculptural and refined. Spectrolite, a native semi-precious stone, is dark blue with a fiery opalescent sheen. Historically, the use of local semi-precious stones was key to the development modern Finnish jewelry which emphasizes the beauty of natural forms and an honesty of materials.
