1960s Marianne Berg Silver Necklace for Uni David-Andersen Norway - Sold
A charming necklace designed by Marianne Berg for Uni-David Andersen's studio in Norway. Made in the mid-1960s, the necklace is a fine example of the new direction Norwegian jewelry was taking this time. The geometric pattern and double-hinge detail are a lovely part of the design.
Berg joined the workshop of David-Andersen under the leadership of Andersen's grand-daughter, Uni Andersen. In the 1960s, Uni and her team of woman designers were pushing boundaries with their technical innovations and original designs.
